A couple of alligator shots from Anhinga Trail in the Everglades. A took a long weekend trip to Florida to shoot a few birds, but also snapped a few shots of reptiles.

Love the first image. Personally, I would crop some off the top and, maybe, a bit on the right hand side to give the image more balance. However, if you like it, that's all that counts.

I'd agree with this! A slight crop/re-frame would turn that first photo into something great. I love the lighting on the gators face, and the variations in the lighting overall in the photo. Great work on both photos.

Great shots. If you're thinking of re-cropping, maybe try making the second one narrower. A narrow, tall shot might make the gator seem like he's swimming out of the photo and into your living room.
