So I asked a friend to be my test subject and we could only do it during the night due to our school and work schedule. It was cold and icy out, but we made it work. Some of my favorite, hoping to get critiqued from the pros here. All shot was with available light, using 85 1.2 and 35 1.4. Bumped the ISO to roughly 1000-1250 to keep a decent shutter speed. So, how did I do? Appreciate all comments!

The first 4 are excellent, especially #2 and #3. The last one is too washed out for my tastes, although I like the composition.

nice shots. I think the third photo kind of got lost in what you were trying to do. Her pose was for angles of her body but because of the scarf you don't see any of that. At least that what I thought of it. Maybe next time not have the scarf or use it more as an advantage.

Thanks everyone for the comments! I had a hard time thinking of poses for her being relatively inexperienced in these kind of photography, but she was pretty willing to try different things out. One question, what could you do to de-accentuate the roundness on a person's face like on photo #3? I didn't really think of it until she kinda mention it me... ;P

Poses other than straight on can make a difference. Hair style, I think, is even more effective. The quick and poorly done clone below is an example. That said. I like your original much better than it would have been with some real hair hiding more of her face.
