Challenge #520: "The end of_______".
"The end of _______". Fill in the blank and make it your title of an appropriate photo. End of anything from a game, to the end of a pool stick or pig, to the end of an era. THE SAME TITLE CAN BE USED BY MORE THAN ONE PERSON. Final note: please no "end of day" sunsets - they are too hard to judge as all are beautiful and I'm sure we all have them on file.
Maureen Souza: "...the race". Looks like a photo finish to me. Since I understand you recently had a new arrival in your family, I was expecting maybe a podium-worthy shot of the little one illustrating "End of pregnancy".
Jim Askew: "...An Era". I love aircaft museums as I can usually find something I've piloted or flown in, but I've never seen or been in one of these old beauties - what a magnificent machine! I think I'd have zapped up the brighness and contrast a little on this shot to show off the shiny finish.
Trumper: "...the snow (for now) beginning of the snowdrops". Sorry you were unable to sort out your problem and submit a new entry as suggested in my PM.
Car: "...of the Pier". Nice shot of an imposing old building, obviously your main subject, but I have to say its connection to the title isn't clear.
Corythosaurus: "...he loves me; he loves me not". Very ingenious interpretation, nicely shot. Now tell us what that last petal revealed....
rpolitsr: "...an ancient civilization". Sepia a good choice for this subject, and maybe you will explain what has been unearthed here, and from when?
Spoco57: "...the road". Perfect choice since this old cemetery is both symbolically and literally "the end of the road". Nicely photographed, too!
OhLook: "...a meal". My mouth waters and I can almost feel the weight going on when I look at this shot.
Raven: "...of Thyme". VERY clever - and nice composition, focus and lighting, too!
WINNERS - chosen on the quality of photo together with how well it fitted the title - it was a very close finish!
#1 RAVEN for "The End of Thyme".
#2 Spoco57 for "The end of the road"
#3 OhLook for "The end of a meal".
