Feb 07, 2015 16:10 | #3801 Saw a very interesting fox in Grand Lake, Colorado, last summer. Very early one morning (long before the town woke up and only a crazy photographer would be out) it was walking down the middle of the town's main street. More brown than red (but still red), it was very long legged and lanky but clearly a fox. ptcanon3ti Cream of the Crop ![]() More info | Feb 07, 2015 20:02 | #3806 tyr-sog wrote in post #17420407 ![]() I'm just researching a little. I'm thinking the 7D2 can come closer to landscapes then what the 6D can do with crop effect and speed with birds/wildlife. Yes. I would agree with your thinking here. You'll be able to do fine landscapes with a 7D2. I did many with my 7D...challenging as it was. Paul

I know not the best of lens & setups, but a landscape just the same. This is the pond across from my house. maybe tomorrow Ill shoot it in snow ![]() ![]() ![]() Jeff ........, 7D, 70-300L, 100-400LII

You'll be able to do fine landscapes with a 7D2. I did many with my 7D...challenging as it was. I continue to find the 7DII RAW image files to capable of much more manipulation than those from my 50D. This is one of the things I did not expect when I bought it and one of the reasons I expect my 7DII to be a fine general purpose camera and excellent for my landscape and architectural work. I needed one camera to be a solid performer in several different genre and I think the 7DII is it for me. I considered buying a 6D and decided to get the 7DII instead. I may still get a FF camera but the 7DII is really all I need.
