you can't beat the quality and and effectiveness of a Lighttools grid, they are also very light so your modifier doesn't tend to tilt downward, in case any
Eli users are interested I have an extra Octabank grid I'm not using

Side note, I dusted off my EL Octa and shot with it for the first time in quite a while last night.

You can't beat Lighttools indeed, but paying almost 1000$ to put a grid on a deep octa is a bit pricey, even for such quality.

gridding a beauty dish would make more sense for you and it's cheaper that's what i did although i gridded a mola setti which wasn't exactly cheap but not light much difference between that mola and your deep octa
