Last weekend I was at the Superprestige Cyclocross in Haaksbergen (Belgium) to see the fresh World Champion Matthieu van der Poel take another victory.

It's my first time doing this kind of event, so all comments and critiques are welcome! Don't hesitate to say what you think!

Thanks!

Excellent shots, number 2 would be my pick.

Great shots, I like 5,7 and 8. I think they really capture 'cross racing.

good stuff. Personally, I like the feel of the first image well above any others posted. #2 is good as well but I don't like the fact that the lead rider's front wheel is clipped. That's just a timing thing. Catch that same shot just a little sooner (per hay bale) and you've got a winner. #8 is another of my favorites from the set but there I would just like to see you lose some of the dead space on the left. It doesn't add to the story and creates a less impactful image. Thanks for the post, wish we saw more cycling here so I'm stoked when I do and especially when there are some good images such as those I mentioned above. Good job!

Great stuff! Van der Poel is on such a high right now, wish I could have gone to Tabor. Thanks for posting.

Great photos 1 and 5 have what I would be happy with. Number 3 amuses me and I would be happy with that, but not for the same reasons. I always like the folks who are not taking much of an interest in the action, even if I know its just for that split second.
