Another addition to the X100T family. I've had mine for about a week or 10 days now and have been loving every minute of it.
I still have my Canon 6D and a whole bunch of Canon lenses, but I love carrying the X100T around with me and it's so fun to shoot.
And so freeing not to have to carry around all that other stuff.

Still learning the best practices for processing the raw files in LR. Anyone have any pointers? I do notice (as has been written about at length) that the usual LR workflow I'd use for Canon files doesn't quite work well on the Fuji files.

Here's some of my latest shots taken with the Fuji:

So I just got the camera today! I have to ask though, what viewfinder mode are you guys using? I'm not understanding the hybrid/optical one with the focus assist box and how to properly frame a shot in that mode. I choose a focus point, and then when I press shutter half way it seems to be showing me a different focus spot than the one I chose. The outside box in the viewfinder shifts to what the picture will actually be, but I wish it would start that way and match up with the point I choose to focus before pushing the shutter button half way. Is there a secret to making best use of the OVF and framing the shot before just giving up and only using EVF? The EVF works exactly as I'd expect, you see exactly what you get when you take the picture and the focus point matches with the result.

What is the advantage of the OVF, or am I just missing something? Or worse, is mine somehow broken?

it is basically just parallax adjustment. the closer to the subject you are, the bigger the difference between the optical VF and the lens.

i'm actually not sure if it is possible to change (i.e. have the framing guidelines match the lens viewpoint all the time) as the camera would have to constantly change the frame depending on what the focus point is on.

for close subjects with precise framing requirements it is probably better to use the EVF.

A few boring/initial test snaps. Not as sharp as my 5D3/Siggy Combo, but then I didn't expect it to be. Overall a very fun camera to use though. I think it will serve the exact purpose I was looking for.

like the second one a lot GuitarDTO. Reminds me of an image that someone might have done on "Suburbia" or something like that.

Thanks! That cloud/smoke trail is actually from the SpaceX rocket ; ) I don't know why, but the photos posted from my photo bucket look way blurrier than in lightroom. The Flickr shot looks similar. Camera is very sharp.

Those were all in camera JPEGs with minor LR tweaks, I haven't experimented with RAW file and processing in lightroom.

Great pics folks! The X100T looks like such a sick camera. I'm definitely gonna buy one when second hand prices come down a bit. The form factor and controls were clearly designed with the photographer in mind, and it looks like a joy to shoot with. As soon as I heard about the viewfinder-within-a-viewfinder for manual focusing, I was sold.
