I took Nifty out for a run yesterday while we had some nice light. Here's the first one I've processed so far. This was in Cirencester cemetery where there are graves dating from 1872 and is still active. Many of the older graves are in bad repair and there doesn't seem to be any of the very ornate tombs that were in the old churchyard. There is another cemetery north of Cirencester in Stratton. Maybe there are some more ornate ones there.

I liked this one in colour and B&W as the late afternoon sun was such a lovely colour.

very nice Clare, I like them both, gravesites are a really good subject for B&W...

in other news I may have bought another nifty (well, two halves of a nifty to be precise) If I can convince the two halves to get along with each other as a couple, then might be possible to put into circulation - won't know how possible until the box arrives...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", 1D MK II converted for IR, and now an M5
TF posting: here :-)

Where are you located joseph? Ah..NZ waiting on the Dupan..
Too bad, as I bought 3 and put them into circulation, but one came back from Europe.. It was never delivered, so I had sent another. I've just been hanging on to this one in "case of emergency". I think shipping and customs might make it prohibitive to send it along to you though. I'll check into it if you scheme does not work out. We need more photos from "Down Under". :-D

Let me know how that works out joseph.. The first Nifty that I sent to Europe came back to me and it was after I had sent a second because I thought it had been bogged down In customs. I have it as a back up in case of emergency... We need pics from Aus and NZ.. So to me , this is an emergency. :-D

First subject (though not first shot) with Nifty on my new-to-me 7D. Nifty looks kind of lost on a gripped 7D, but seems to perform pretty well. This is a bottle of rum that a friend of mine recommended as his favorite, and at first taste, it might become my fave too...

Lots of gravestones are broken and wonky. The Urn at the top of this one is smashed.

Not sure if this is from the ground subsiding or vandalism. There were quite a few like this.

Visited Heathrow Terminal 5 this morning when I dropped my husband off for his flight.
Had a wander around outside and spotted this which I thought was fun.
Wonder how they got up there...

Great treatment on the Graveyard images, Clare!
Perfect for the subject.. You have some old digs.

,, Those broken were probably done by grave robbers!! :p
j/k You are right, most likely the shifting ground or people with nothing better to do.

Those headphones most likely did not work any longer ;)
