Got my lens calibrated from Sigma repair center when we visited Atlanta during holidays. They are very fast. Dropped off lens and picked up next day.
Looks like it is much better now with 70D. Focuses better than rebel in low light. Working fine with video shooting as well.

Shot this a few months ago and forgot to post it in this thread. Went and did some off-roading here in Vegas, on a trail towards Angel Peak. I love this little lens, it's fantastic. Shot with a T1i.

Tim, most of us use BB Code option to post photos from Flickr. When you open the share option, look for the BB code on the right and pick a size that matched the forum rules. I usually use the Large, which is 1000x667 to post mine.
It usually presents a better image here than using any of the other options.

Beautiful colors in the above shots. This lens seems to be able to render colors incredibly well.

Absolutley -- This lens is my favorite for SooC shots. Color and contrast are fantastic.

The images above, I've tweaked in Lightroom slightly - exposure, contrast, levels.
Attached example SooC shots for comparison.

Ahhhh - just discovered a spec of dust in my lens that is showing up on my photos. Sigma is closed for the day but I sent them an email. Has anyone ever sent theirs back for clearing / repair?

Looking at buying my first prime for my 70D. I'm lacking in fast glass for low light indoor photos. The shots in this thread look great, and I was wondering if anyone could comment on buying this 'non art' model used for around $300 as opposed to the 'art' new. I haven't found a used 'art' yet.

Non-Art versions are great, but they can be hit or miss with focus issues. I suggest that you test it as much as you can or buy from a reputable person/dealer. If not, the nifty-fifty is 1.8 and is great and a only 1/3rd of the price... And it will work on FF if you ever decide to go that route...

YMMV.
