What error did the camera say when it quit recording?
Did the camera record for 2 min, but id did not record to the memory card or are you saying that you started with a blank memory card and you recorded 2 min of video?

Try a different lens and see if the lens and camera combination could be the issue.

often times the card isn't fast enough even if it says Class 10. I used Patriot SD cards and it would often quit recording. I switched to Sandisk Pro cards and no issues with the recording stopping.

I've been using PNY Elite Performance SD in my 70D for video without any issues.
