I am so jealous of your shots Peter. You seem to have the skills, environment and most importantly time to go out and get the shots I know I would love to be out getting.
I am gonna try to sneak out to downtown this evening after I drop my wife off at class. I should get about an hour of shooting done before I need to head back to class to pick her up.

Thanks Ron, I shoot whenever I can that's how addicted I am in this hobby. My wife is asking me sometimes when will I get tired of taking pictures :), I am lucky that where we live there are so many parks/wetland/marina nearby.

We were picnic-ing on a island and he came right up to us looking for handouts. Literally three feet from where we sat!

I'm really impressed with all that I see here, and I'm impressed with my lens too. I love it a LOT!

I do have a quick question though, I really don't want to derail this thread any more than I already have, but I need help! :)

My Focus-Limiter Switch is not like my Canon lenses, for instance when I am shooting something near with close focus, then I need to go farther, it 'lets me know' but not letting me focus, so I know to immediately switch to the distance focus. My 150-600mm Tamron doesn't let me do this, it focuses all the way through, allowing me to 'think' I am in focus, but they will be blurry later on my monitor. It does slightly slow down, but in the heat of the moment, (think BiF) around 50-60 feet, a bird may fly to 70 feet, and I am not realizing it looking through the lens. In other words my lens only focuses up to 'around' 50-60 feet on the close settings, and then I need to go to the distance setting.
So my question is, who knows where there is an answer here, or, if they know, please tell me, I'll start a new thread somewhere too. (Where? I'm not sure where to even post this one, to be honest)

Surely I can't be the only one that has this problem.

Remember, I really don't want to derail this thread, I can delete this post later if needed. :)

Thank you!

Randy
