Very nice, Stina. One day I want to come up for cattle round up or something :-)
I have been to LA this week, to Fresno almost daily plus 2 rounds of babysitting for Danielle. I have also been to our Cancer Care Center here twice to arrange Skip's radiation & he now starts Monday & will get it daily for 6 weeks. I start Physical Therapy on my arm Monday & Tuesday I get my stitches out. No wonder I feel exhausted! :-P

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Thanks, Joayne and Maureen.

Sounds like you've been going non-stop Maureen, but are going to be moving forward and that's good.

I fell asleep at 9:30 last night & slept until 0700 this morning. Laying around reading & watching TV all morning; feels so good! Now getting ready to go grocery shopping......
I am planning a weekend at the coast starting next Friday. Radiation is 5 days a week for the next 6 weeks so I am going to plan weekend getaways for a bit. Danielle has decided to stay home until mid June, then her husband is off from mid June until August 1 so we will have lots of free time. As soon as Skip is cleared to fly, we are taking a 10 day trip to Amsterdam & Belgium.

Ha ha ha, I WISH!

I finally got Miss Ella to open her eyes & engage with me a bit. She is the sleepiest baby but 3 weeks old today (And a whole 7 1/2 lbs. :)) & starting to perk up a bit. I was almost shooting in the dark so the quality is a little compromised.

My word Maureen. I am so sorry to read the news about your daughter but agree she would be the most beautiful thing you have ever seen. It sounds like you and Skip are going forward. We have been in the midst of ice storms here so I have hardly checked the internet. I took a few ice pictures but everything outside was brown and glazed with ice. Take care. Best wishes to you and all of your family. Baby Ella is beautiful!

Good morning everyone!
I am sorry to hear about your daughter Maureen! Hope she is healing now! Sounds like everything is set for you and Skip now as well!! Going to be a very busy few weeks! Thoughts and prayers are continuing for you all!
Great pictures Stina!!! Gives me hope that we may see bare ground again before next September!
Finally got out for a little while yesterday and got some more shots of the snowy owl. It was at a bit of a distance so not many if any at all were too great because I had to crop. It really didn't cooperate much in the "natural setting" thing as it stayed perched on a telephone pole or some dumpsters!! So here is the one I like the best.

Oh Maureen, I'm sorry to hear about your Daughter, when Craig told me I couldn't believe it! I'm so happy to hear she's going to be okay! You have been through a lot, but I'm glad to see you moving forward. I see blue skies ahead for you and Skip. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Because of family issues ( you know what those are! ) I'm not on the forum as much, nor am I able to go out and shoot as much. Hopefully things will start to calm down on this end as well! I wish Craig and I were able to get away, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. All the the best, You deserve it.:-)
Oh, and I love all the pics I see here everyone, keep 'em coming!

I sure hope you get better weather soon, Barbara. I might not be jealous of your weather, but I'm sure jealous of that owl.

Lynn, we are talking about getting down to HB for a weekend in the next few weeks to walk the Bolsa Chica wetlands. I will shoot you a message & maybe you & Craig can join us! I would love that.

Our daughter had a delay in going to rehab; they are still trying to decide if her kidney is going to function or need to come out. Will know tomorrow......

Thanks for all your kind thoughts & prayers. They mean so much to me.

For those of you back East, try to stay warm & dry. I feel so sorry for all that bitter weather you are having to endure.-?
