Gorgeous! I love your processing on these. #1 would make a great bedroom poster.

Beautiful car . Once in a lifetime chance to photograph it . I read your blog and was somewhat disappointed on the performance tho . 0-60mph in 5.7 sec is kinda slow IMO . However I do know a little on the Lamborghini that take off isn't there advantage , those cars are best at top in speed and I do mean they are fast ! But I'm also surprised that top speed is 160mph . Some do over 200mph . The Roush Mustang with the top V-8 RS does 0-60mph in 4.5 secs but does the quarter at 114mph at the same 12.9 secs . We have a local oilman that has a Lamborghini and it was late 80s' early 90s' , not sure exactly . But he use to bring his race cars and race bikes to a car show and he would bring his Lamborghini just for show . They were the "God Is Awesome" race team .

I also read where the car is going to auction ? That would be very interesting to watch . I watch the Mecum Auto Auction every chance I get . Great cars sold there . Enjoyed your blog read tho and enjoyed the pictures . If you get anymore please post them for viewing !

I might also add you have a 1930 RR Phantom images that are fantastic . That car is a collectors dream car !!

^ You expected more from a 30-year-old car? Of course some of the current cars do 200 MPH. In 30 more years, they'll be doing 400 MPH.

Fantastic set of a beautiful car, OP. I always look forward to your posts.

Great angles. Love the dramatic lighting. Couple of things though; in your blog post you call it a 500s, while the car clearly says 5000s. And to the guy who questioned the 0-60 time, couple of places I looked had it at 4.9 when new. The European version also had a bit more power than the US version.

Are you talking about on the OPs' blog or elsewhere on the internet ? That is more what I expected . I've seen a couple running around town a few times and they are extremely quick on take off as well as quick stopping . I wasn't giving the OP a hard time , just surprised with so little miles that it would loose any power from when it came off the line until now . If it had say 100k + then I wouldn't be surprised .

Look at the 0-60 times for cars in 1983. This particular car even by today's standards will seem quick when you watch it take off. It's easy to assume a car you see take off it faster than it really is because its perspective. When you see this go up against a new Bugatti it will look slow no doubt but that's over 30 years of engineering advancements.

A lottery win would send me off searching for one of these. Still the best looking car ever made, such aggressive angles. Your photos really do it justice, thanks for sharing them..........
