Ahh, i could imagine this works better for sunsets etc than a normal grad ND. Thanks for the explanation, didnt know there exists something like this

You might already have the filters to emulate one. Read this: http://www.linhofstudio.com …-Filters-on-landscape.pdf (external link)

Here is the reason LEE doesn't even make reverse grad filters

Here's another way to get the same effect as a reverse grad filter. Its called the "Magic Cloth" or "Blackcard" technique. I tried this with major failures and frustration. This will require plenty of practice. Below are the links for the video tutorial and sample pics of Tony Prower's work.

Mod: Please move my post to a more appropriate thread as you see fit. I know I'm moving away from the thread subject. So sorry.

Ok thanks, just making sure I wasnt crazy. when I would import to LR, the auto settings would automatically adjust the WB to make all pics look alike (with and without the ND), but if I were to copy + paste settings from one photo to another, the colors were waaay off. interesting.

Had fun with the 9-stop tho, looking into a Lee system at the moment :-D

the Lee filter system is awesome, i got home for Christmas even though i havent been out much because of the extreme cold here in nyc, i have been out the last two days and love it so far

Awesome ptcanon3ti! Received my Haida 10-stop today, but I didn't get a chance to try it out.

What do you think about it?

Shot from the high desert. South of Mojave in California. Had to climb a very steep "mountain" to get this shot but the view was breathtaking. Full 360 view
