i continue to be impressed with the performance of this new Tamron lens... considering the price, it's amazingly sharp and clear even shooting wide open at long focal lengths - a very worthy upgrade from my 100-400L! this little Anna's was taking a break, resting on a barbed-wire fence in some nice late afternoon light... 7D, 550mm, 1/800 @ f/6.3
