I have been using back button focus since the Rebel XT! Don't think I could ever go back to normal, just never liked the half button press to recompose. That and to me it is much easier to track with back button than half button press.

I tried back button focus on my t2i and it didnt work. I have a short right thumb... hah.. anyway... where is the button located?

Hey Jeff, welcome to the 100-400II club, I gotta say in answer to your question that no, it ain't junk haha.

Also, it looks like burnett44 was asking the question of flash or no flash to Raw.hu.

Cheers
Gus

Spent the morning messing with settings trying to get the these little fellas in flight, they are small AND fast. Got some reasonable keepers, but most were just blurs or empty frames LOL. All cropped to some extent.
