I finally got my hands on my camera today. Between the snow last week and delivery on Friday after I left work wasn't sure I was ever going to get it.

My intentions were to throw it in rice for a couple weeks and see what happened. But, my nature wasn't that patient, so I ran home at lunch to see what would happen. Popped the battery in and... FULLY FUNCTIONING!! The wheels are a tad gritty and there's some dirt under the top LCD, but other than that, a little wipe down and she'll be good as new (not really but you get the point).

My 600 should ship back today with no damage, recalibrated and thumbs up given by Canon.
