70d & 18-135 lense for 700 should I buy This?

I have a chance to buy this kit in near mint condition........I plan on using for portraits and photos and maybe a little video.....I just sold my 7d mk 1 but need quick advice on this camera....and why?


Gear- Canon 50d, Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L USM,Alien Bee 1600 & csr+ reciever, Sekonik L-358

Heya,

Seeing as the camera generally sells for that, a bit more often, it seems you're getting a lens for free, regardless of it being the old one or the new STM.

If you really want THIS particular camera in this price range, I'd say go for it. It's a good price for this camera, and again, you're getting a free lens essentially.

As for using it for portraits, well, that depends on what kind you mean. If you mean studio stuff, this will work. If you mean outdoor stuff, maybe, just depends on your preferences.

Why did you sell the 7D and consider this?

I say jump on it you can't beat the price and it's also a great camera. I might be a little bias since I own the 70D but it is a good camera.

I would buy it!


6D, 5D, 7D, 50D, 40D, Xsi, PENTAX mx-1, Sony a6000, Sony a3000 too many lenses, flashes and aux. gear to list!:cool:
