I may have interest, but I am concerned about the amount of wear and tear to the camera.

The small, repaired crack in the body - could you possibly post a clear, detailed close-up of the repaired area? Also, who repaired it? Canon? A third party camera repair service? Yourself? The previous owner?

Are there any service records for the camera?

Additionally, could you give us the shutter count?

Thank you.

"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

It was fixed by me, I just sanded it down and put epoxy on it. Holds up really well, since then Canon has seen it and said its fine they see 1D cameras with it, things happen. I dont know the shutter count. I would say around 150,000. Once I get a buyer I will ship the camera in and have Canon clean it and do all that.

This is a photo of how I fixed it, I sanded it down a bit and then put the expoy on. The crack/scratch is about a 1/3 of what you see here I went extra to cover it all up.

I'm local in San Diego. Can we arrange to meet to inspect the crack in person? I can also bring my laptop to help get you an accurate shutter count.
