Hungry Fox - Right after an early March snowstorm

This guy showed up at our bird feeders the other day looking for a quick meal. Like most locations on the east coast of North America we have had a brutal winter. I would say that this fox like me, is ready for spring.

That's a great close up Rob, I would of loved to have some of your snow hear in Idaho we are really low on snow this year In my neck of the woods.

Thanks Stacy! With temps in the 50s and 60s this week and a lot of rain, all the snow will be gone by this weekend. Then maybe I can hit the woods and find some sheds.

Thanks! I was about 16-18 feet away. I was indoors and took the photo out my basement window. My deck is 12' wide at that spot and the fox was another 4-6 feet beyond. Taken with a Sigma 150-500 and cropped.
