Have photos that show one animal as the main subject, in good sharp focus . . . . . . . . . and another one blurred out in the background? Post 'em up!

Here's one from today. Was hoping to get a better angle on them. There was a fourth with them but couldn't get it in frame. Pic taken by my neighbors house. Always carry the old T1i along in the truck just in case there is something to photograph.:-)

Now, in this one, the distance between foreground and background was very short, but it was enough to change the focus noticeably.

hey, Jeff! Sorry - i don't mean to be a pain about that. It's just that sometimes you post something that I especially like, and I can't help but to want to know more about what went into the shot.
For many shots, settings don't really matter too much, but then there are those which seem that they might have involved challenging circumstances, and that is when I am particularly interested in what settings were used (a.k.a. "what compromises the photographer chose to make").
Think of it this way; if you were a serious cook, and a friend served you a dish that you absolutely loved, you would be interested in knowing what ingredients were used in the dish, wouldn't you?
Anyway, I just wanted to explain why EXIF is often important to myself and other photographers......
.....and thanks for your stellar contribution to the thread!
