Hopefully this is ok here... it does say "Discuss" in the title :)

I'm curious about all you 6D and ML users. I would like to know what it is about ML that you like so much. I very generically know about ML, but in a thread I started about AFMA in the general forum someone brought to my attention that ML has an auto dot-tune feature. So I started looking into ML a little more. Seeing stuff like AETTR, Dual ISO, Intervalometer, bulb timer, motion detect, zebras, etc. etc. definitely tempts me, but I'm curious how much of the ML stuff you guys actually use on a normal basis.

I'm wondering how useful ML really is for every day shooting. Is it mostly gimmicky stuff that I would be bored with, shortly after going through the trouble of installing 1.1.3 firmware, ML and then trying to learn how to use it? I primarily shoot landscape and my kids/family. Is there enough there to be worth it, do you think?

Thanks for your opinions on the matter, I appreciate it.

the only features I really find useful (as in I don't want to give them up), are the focus peaking (for shallow depth of field and video), the GPS power saver, and I use to use the HDR bracketing, but I find my self using that less and less, mainly because I'm out of the HDR phase at the moment though.

Anyone use the 6D with Tamron 24-70mm f2.8 VC?

I do, just got them new about a week ago. This pano was shot with the 6D and the Tamron 24-70.
