I have been playing with my Nikon DSLR 5100.. my first "big" camera. Here's my dog in two pairs of shots, one during the day and the other at night. After I looked at the ones taken on the chair I realized her eyes are hard to capture because of the hair, so I took another during the day with her hair up. She tends to blink.

And yes, the coat is a lot of work to get it looking like this!

Nice. Nice looking dog. Do you show her or just keep her long?
I have 4 Maltese, cut, none worthy of show and just got a Havanese from our cousin who breeds for show.

Thanks. I took her to a few shows but she wasn't into it, so I pulled her. Currently working on health certifications and if she clears, I'll be breeding her. She is the granddaughter of a #1 rank Havanese. She is my first show dog.
