What kind of data do you need to send to a monitor?

You can daisy chain thunderbolt but even without access to my external hard disks I can also pass anything hooked up to the USB hub on the monitor and audio which let's me share my one set of speakers with two computers.

Haha well I'm just here... been pretty busy and was not shooting very much as well. Just got a different routine that's all haha

How about you Farlet?

I was suppose to but then the GF wants to come back home... so we decided to comeback. We even cancelled our working visa application right at the airport LOL... kind of a waste to be honest but it was okay, got to experience Japan for almost 2 years!! Yes it's expensive but I can't imagine it's that much expensive than living in the US.

haha nice!! I see I'm not the only one using Mirrorless here now then LOL... I've been pretty inactive in all the forums and in fact I can't seem to remember most of the photography jargons anymore. I need to get back and get inspired LOL

Hi Tony.... I've been in Tagaytay since November last year. Probably gonna stay here for a while but might end up staying around Nuvali area in the long term.

You were here the entire Winter Season?

hahahaha :p

Nope... I'm here in Cavite/Tagaytay area although that photo was taken in an island near Romblon last January... very beautiful place, not in the tourist map at all :D

Omar, Baan, and Tony have gone Sony Alpha. Martin has Fuji, I believe. Moko has been MIA like you. ;-)a Harm and the rest have been fiddling with dslr still.

I've been picking gear here and there. Mostly shooting family stuff. Work just keeps getting in the way mostly.

You're in Tagaytay now. You must have a lot of pics of Taal volcano. I wanted to get closer and hike there but we always just end up eating and taking background shots at the restaurant and then everyone wants to go to the casino. Tony played golf at the Highlands there. He has pics posted if you look back a bit. :-)

I went sony alpha too. I think they have the best mirrorless bodies on the market--too bad their lens lineup is underwhelming and overpriced.

Yeah I've been missing--but I bet my reason's more asinine than his--my saved link to the old 2am thead "broke" during the switchover to amass, so there was a 3-4 month period where I just didn't bother to get back in :)

ohhh hahaha did you guys just did a follow the monk3y trend? LOL!!! Sadly nobody went Olympus though… hahaha

I don't really have pics of the volcano, I'm enjoying living here but not really shooting much at the moment… I have some cellphone pics but that's all haha

We even went on an 8 day trip to Romblon and all I got at the end of it were about 50raw shots haha… I need to grab my camera and start shooting again though hayyy…

So yeah I missed Tony's visit rhis year, hopefully I'll meet him again next year haha It's ironic that now I live here I almost never bothered to eat at any of the restaurants… haha

That's lame Moko hehe

I know Sony have some pretty good sensors but yes their lenses are either very expensive or limited for me… and during the time I was looking at their system in Japan it just never really clicked for me that time. I don't see myself getting or buying another camera soon until I get back into the groove and start traveling again… which might still be a year or two so by then we might have better lens choices for Sony.

That full frame goodness must be really nice though… it's great people are looking past the tradional slr bodies :) mirrorless has so much potential!

Can't believe I never asked this--what's with the Monkey-name? A big fan of them? Or are they all over the place in the Philippines? Are there even any monkeys in the Philippines, period?

Every time I watch Death In Paradise, I think of Monkeys oversaturated shots.
