It won't be the same though. The main reason I downgraded was the birth of my son. He's over 2 months old now and I have only been out once to shoot, although, this is due at least as much to the weather also. So I don't know how much "damage" I can do with my Tamron :)

Maybe, occasionally, I will pick some of my old Sigma photos, hopefully ones that I haven't posted here, process them and post them :)

Picked up the 1.4 teleconverter but decided I'm gonna go with the 2x first. Still got out to test this out before it gets exchanged. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I got the id right on these but I'm just getting started with birding. I bought this lens originally for sports but I can see myself chasing birds here and there :)

Yeah, this lens is great for weddings - if we disregard the size and weight ;)
I never dared to take it to any weddings I shot.
