Love all the birds on this page - Gus, x-tan and peteg1. I was out searching for birds and this one flew over. (Respect to them - they also do mountain rescue and one day I might need them!)

Attempt at the near total eclipse today. Put the lens on the 7D and put my old x2 TC II on to get as much magnification as I could. Put my 10-stop ND on as well...

Got the sun spot in, as it approached...

I like the way their heads and antlers stand out against the darker and OOF background; it gives a great sense of depth and the vastness of their terrain.

Try to shoot Bell Miner this afternoon, EXTREME active, and AA battery can't recharge my 580EX quick enough - MUST get an external Quantum Turbo SC Power Pack some stage.

All 5D3 with 1.4x III @ 560mm:

And I hope the next 5D4 can give me the same or better Dynamic Range than my Sony a7R!

Recent purchase, not too sure how it would perform in lower light, given the narrow max aperture. Late afternoon at the dog park, very overcast, keeping the shutter speed up for moving dogs, therefore high ISO:
