Thanks David, great bike shots a the family portrait is great as well. It does seen like we're the only two on here at present.

With the risk of boring you here's another of Kristina we were having a play with make up and lighting today, but eyes open or closed?

Dennis - like the variation of shots (colour version of #1 for me - I have been seeing in colour all my life so far ;-)a ) the waiting room one made me smile!

Sorry to bore you with more racing but still working on the settings.
Had a few hours at Snetterton on Saturday - Cory's tattooist was racing in the 1000cc class, unfortunately due to electrical / sensor issues he had to pull out after the first race.

1DX, 70-200 2.8 mkII with 1.4 mkIII extender (usual race set up) Anyway - it was cold / wet / windy and a little grey so dialled in +2/3rds on the exposure, set camera to jpeg, added a little to the profile settings and came away with:

#1 1/500, f/4, iso 250, 280mm Hot n Wet

#2 1/160, f/5, iso 100, 155mm and over the line
IMAGE: http://www.davidstallardphotography.com/Petrol-Head/Motorcycles/No-Limits-Snetterton-21-03-15/i-rtS3hpG/0/L/No%20Limits%20Snetterton%2021-03-15%20%20106-L.jpg

#3 1/250, f/4.5, iso 200, 205mm one of Brad's team mates 'getting the power down'

#4 1/160, f/4, iso 125, 280mm little flat on the colour with this one but think it still works okay.
IMAGE: http://www.davidstallardphotography.com/Petrol-Head/Motorcycles/No-Limits-Snetterton-21-03-15/i-PxrT9GS/0/L/No%20Limits%20Snetterton%2021-03-15%20%20481-L.jpg

#5 1/500, f/4.5, iso 100, 165mm did I mention it was a little 'chilly'
IMAGE: http://www.davidstallardphotography.com/Petrol-Head/Motorcycles/No-Limits-Snetterton-21-03-15/i-fQ7Wdwq/0/L/No%20Limits%20Snetterton%2021-03-15%20%20365-L.jpg

Nothing too exciting but it was a good few hours and came away feeling a little better about the camera than I did on my last outing lol.

Congrats Ronin on Vogue, great job!

Managed to get out yesterday and wandered around London & got a couple of keepers - now to find the time to edit them.

Aperture are listing one with 41k clicks for £1850. MPB Photographic & Fixation are listing one with 85k clicks for £1600.

For private sale, I'd guess you'd probably be looking to sell it for 75-80% of that.

Check out the B&S forum on here and do a search for UK and 1D4. I'm sure someone has sold one on here before.

Good luck!

Dennis

Dom - love the profile shot, only niggle for me is the 'crack' in the background coming off the bridge of her nose (not literally) once I looked at it that is all I get drawn to (sorry)

mungo - 1DmkIV with 24k on it, may I ask why your selling?

Hi David

I just don't get to use it any more, i don't get out much now and it seems such a waste sitting in my cupboard, so thought i would sell all my gear and put the money towards a holiday for the family
