Another huge thanks to PhotoHunter

Very nice Robert, they look like fantastic subjects to photograph, lovely plumage too.
On the other hand though, thought you were fed up with all things snow?
Cheers
Gus

And, having been known to work for beer in the past, I'll definitely take you up on that offer the next time y'all come to town. I just wish the weather would have been a little better for you.

As long as you can survive with the limited FPS and focal points, it's a great deal, especially at current prices....

When commenting on the "IQ" comparing sensors of different sizes, I think it is very important to distinguish full-res IQ and equal-crop IQs. The 7D2 has more resolution and slightly better noise quality, and about the same quantity, when you take a 1.6x crop from the 6D. So, for a person who is focal-length-limited in their most noise-critical shooting, it is a huge mistake, IMO, to buy a 6D for "better IQ", because it only has better IQ when you utilize the FULL frame and are able to go outside the realm of equivalence (IOW, use a DOF shallower at a given FOV than is possible on a crop camera).

We have those egrets by us too. The biggest problem I had was that the trees had too many branches for a clear shot. But what a clearing you got! Great shots! 7D Mark ii, T1i/500D, 17-55 2.8, 100-400L mk II - More Gear
