It's 1/8th of an inch. The plexi does get scratched but you can't tell when using it with black or white backdrops. Feel free to copy. I used standard and led icicle lights to achieve the two colors.

Don't let that hold you back. I did a similar in a space of about 6x8. It wasn't as nice but when/if I do get a larger space I'll be a step ahead for having a little practice.

Awesome! I didn't notice the pvc in the first pic until I saw your setup and looked back at it. Would it be worth painting the pipes black or switching it out for a piece of steel rod? Unless you use it on a white background.
