Thanks Jeff but speaking of nice your foxes keep getting better and better if that's even possible!
And as much as we all love the foxes the pine martins just grab me. Did I ever tell you we have weasels
down here=very fast and super skittish; I've got to study the mojo you wrote about not long ago

lol Yes the Weasel is so fast, I was only able to get a few blurry images of the little devil. I do seem to have a ton of foxes. Last night on my way home I shot one out the window of the truck sitting with three deer on the side of the Hwy ,..I wish it had come out better it was already getting dark

Last from s.Carolina, the 7D2 + 400DOii made the cut for Patagonia, not that I'll see anything to shoot there with a 400 and TC me thinking mostly landscape there but if I don't take it I'll certainly be staring at something with a 16-35mm and crying

So, of course, today I decide to break out the 17-55, and it does fine (with my MFA settings for it on). Dunno what to think anymore lol. Not sure if I should keep the 24-70 or what.

You are making the 7D2 and 70-300L combo shine. That is one beautifully composed and photographed scene.

As I've said a few times, I'm running out compliments that don't sound forced. Both the fox and pine marten are looking fine. Your photographs convey the joy you must feel when you see them.....and when you look at the photographs they provide.

I second what Jeff said. You are making the 7D2 and your 500 f/4 shine.... the 1.4X doesn't seem to reduce the IQ at all, at least from here.

These are only comments on the excellent photographs on this page alone. I'm glad to see so many of us having so much fun with the 7D2.
