And a well known local R/C builder took the time to build a scale version complete with folding wings which he could fold or deploy on the runway. He said he had about 400 hours into building & perfecting the wings.

One of my favorite war birds - thanks for sharing.

Keeping my fingers crossed for the third week of May where there should be a gathering of three, perhaps four, Corsairs at a local flight museum.

If anyone is ever in Adelaide near the airport there is a Corsair under "restoration" at classic jets museum. Worth a look.

I have wanted to see one of these for years and at Duxford last year I finally got the chance. As stunning to look at in real life as in the pictures and just a gorgeous plane to watch flying...

I'm going to ask a silly question but why do some have 4 and 3 blade props? Different engine? or just different prop?
