Over the 4 yrs we have been together I have shot loads of pictures of my partner Jill here are two shots I particularly like

Shot in Cambridge using a Canon 60D with a Tamron 17/50 VR F2/8

to be honest I just saw this nice doorway and as id just started using manual I played around with it and came up with these two shots ! I have to admit of all the photos ive taken of Jill these two are my favourites

Hi Mike, not bad at all on the pictures of your pretty partner. On the first one though I think some fill light could have helped with the shadows around her eyes. Keep practice and posting for us to see.

have scince bought a reflector so plan to use that in the future Jill and I are getting into wedding photography so we have a long list of gear we aim to get over the next two years prior to that we have lots of practice to get through so yes we shall be posting

Im in the process of uploading some shots to my gallery . . . here is a candid I absolutely love it was this image that made me realise I wanted to be a photographer it was taken at a friends birthday party using my old 600D and a canon 55/250 telephoto I was amazed to get it so spot on and im really proud of it

Jill and I went out today to the park and shot some pics she now has my 60D and I have my 7D primarily we were doing some test shots experimenting with DOF . . . for the wedding we have coming up soon here is a nice shot (I think so anyway) one of several using my canon F2/8 70/200 Is L I just love the creamy bokeh


Yep my 7D is working much better than earlier in the week now ive had time to get used to it
