With only around 880 mountain gorillas left in the world these awe inspiring creatures are considered critically endangered.

While living in Tanzania for several years I knew I could not leave the continent without visiting these gentle giants :love:. Here are some of my favorite shots from this adventure in Rwanda.

It is. On the bright side there was around 740 when I was there in 2007. So the hard efforts from the rangers and conservationist are really making a difference.
