Hi,

I was planning to take advantage of the mail-in rebate for a lens. CPW identified Adorama as the store to fulfill the order. This is the first time for me to use this channel, so I would really appreciate any reviews, comments, etc.

Thanks in advance

Comments about Adorama? They are one of the retailers on the short list of sites accepted here at POTN as quality retailers. I would not hesitate to order from them.

I think there is a CPW thread in this forum somewhere with good reviews. I'd recommend them as well.

Adorama is a no-brainer; the rare times something went wrong with an order, they were quick to resolve for me.

That's another big reason to order from Adorama. Helen hangs out here and is accessible. I have never used her services because nothing have ever screwed up, but it's comforting to know that if anything goes astray, there is a real person to talk to. Big plus in my book... Huge...

Oh wow, this gets even better. Thanks once again. Just waiting to get the actual quote from Adorama and I shall set the ball rolling.

I just placed my first order from Adorama on the 18th and paid for faster shipping rather than their free shipping option. It never got shipped until the 24th and it's still in route. I guess I should've gone with the free route. If you need something in a hurry, I'd order from someplace else.

followed canon watch for some time...both Adorama and B & H are reputable stores. Both stores had a sale till the end of March involving rebates. Went with B & H due to their ability to upgrade some items in the kit. Basically got the 5d mark III with 24-105 and pimxa100 printer plus some upgrades. Total pkg was 3100.00 minus a $250 Visa rebate card that Canon will send me. Rebate card makes deal $2850. Printer sells for $400, 24-105 IS sells from anywhere around $500-$600. Figure the camera taps out around $1800 - $1900. All USA warranty. B & H was real good about letting me upgrade CF card and camera bag...I just paid the difference.
