This is my wife and son just after a argument, LOL. This was taken with a EOS M with the 18-55mm Kit Lens. The images that come out of this camera always shocking me, The IQ is so good (IMO).....

This is a very emotive image. Your explanation for the shot enhances, the image ... absolutely. Congratulations on capturing a most engaging image.

I like how the alternation between the darks and the lights, those stripes and the irregular shapes also telegraphs the situation. Having a black and white image, keeps the situation tense and animated. The next few images that you took, I'm sure, are also worth seeing.

The placement of the main figure, particularly your wife's dominant scale, and emotive posture ... is making me feel that, your wife takes no flack, from anybody, but considers and reflects about what has happened.

A masterful image. Just amazing.

This is proof that it is not the lens that makes the image, it's the photographer using it correctly. Great Focal length, composition and timing! This image "speaks".
