Why is it that when someone says "I'm no expert", it turns out that YES they are...? Great work.

hah i have to second that motion!
Haha thank you, I've been using lightroom for awhile, but there are still sliders in the detail section which I do not fully understand the impact of using them. For instance when using the sharpening, I rarely use the detail or masking as I do not know what it really does. Same thing with the color section of the noise reduction, no clue. Thank you both for the compliment though!

Stupid question here, how did you overexpose? Just go into the menu and bump it up a bit, and how much if you dont mind me asking?
It depends on what mode your in. If in Av or Tv, you can just use the dial to tell it to over or underexpose (see the Exposure comp meter). I believe I was 1/3 or possible 2/3 over. If you are shooting in full manual and the lighting conditions are typically stable, you can just dial in your aperture, shutter, and raise the iso (or really lower the shutter speed, or even open your aperture, just depends which you prefer, I did ISO as I wanted f/2.8 and a fast shutter) until your meter shows you are over exposing for however much you'd like. Hopefully that helps, I'm more hands on so I may not have explained it the best.
