The sun was setting fast and the G7X in HDR mode, allowed me to grab this shot.

Lovely sunset, David.

I've been using the G7X fairly consistently for the past three months in my 365. I'm really enjoying it, it's doing very well for me.

Here are a few:

Absolutely perfect from a platform of this size. What impresses me is the time it takes from start-up to taking the shot. You don't need to wait that long and the shutter lag is acceptable.

Alan, your shots also show good colour.

My one is traveling with me each day. Just which I had your landscapes ;-)a where I travel.

As I've gone smaller with my gear (move to mirrorless), I do continue to appreciate my little Canon G7X. It's a great little performer, and goes with me everywhere.

May I ask what aperture did you use to get that sun star? I can't see the shooting details on the Flickr image page.
Thanks!
Lots of great shots on this thread BTW
Nigel

Love this little camera for quality in an easy to carry package. Need to make an effort to use it more.

Caught this guy enjoying the shade near my front door...

Perfect. This looks like a painting. I like the effect and agree that this camera packs a whole lot of punch for its size.
