The sky grew dark, the masses screamed and from the centre of the stage emerging out of a black square tent the pale one himself appeared.

Then about 40 photographers tried to take the same photo from the exact same position for 1 entire song. No one was allowed to move.

I’ve shot Marilyn Manson before and both times it has been ridiculous rules like this and boring results like these.

That sucks. He was in town recently and the same stupid one song rule applied. I was told he hates photographers and to watch out for spit as apparently he had done that several times before. I did not get that many good shots. I hope you don't mind me crashing your thread but this was probably the best one I got. He swung that mic around like crazy and there was more than once I had to back away from getting hit.

Not at all man, go ahead!! Post as many as you like.

Yeah, it's pretty lousy shooting him. Next time he's on a bill I'm gonna go shoot someone else who is clashing with him.

Your shot is pretty good, I'd be happy with that one.

Thanks.

I hear that, I doubt he will come to my neck of the woods again, but I would not bother going to photograph him again.

Thats the sad thing. I have seen them 3 times.

The first time was one of the best performances I have seen.
The second time he was so drunk he spent more time laying on stage than singing, forgot the lyrics and was booed off - Was also at a Soundwave show
The third time was the recent one shown above and was just terrible.

I wont be seeing them again.

I was told he was sober which explained for the "bloated" look he had. I did my one song, stayed with friends for two more and left. That was the weirdest vibe I've ever felt at a show.
