Just 15 seconds ... the clouds were moving fast that day.

That looks like a lot of fun! I'd love to have a quiet replacement for my nifty fifty. Hope it has six+ aperture blades...the bokeh on the nifty is funky with five.

Now we interrupt your regular programming for a few plants. :)

I was hoping it would have IS but oh well - with the aperture being so large it means a fast SS anyways to so no big deal. If this baby comes in for under $179 - Canon will sell a s%$#load of these. When I see the release date, I will sell my nifty-50 asap. I like the 50 as my flower macro lens and all-around artzy tool.

Speaking of flowers ~ nice job ;-)a

Anyway, first Bombus of the year. Zerene stripped the EXIF but I promise it was with the 70D :) I'm still not 'there' yet, but I think I'm slowly improving.

Note on the water born plants and their duty. Just showed the boss your backyard vid and she is completely smitten with the idea!
Now not only a bug hotel but a bug swimming pool.
You's looks to be about .6 x 1 meter? How deep? I think in my area it'd have to be a meter deep to keep the bottom from freezing or are these any concerns.
Just love the ideas I've gotten from you over the years!

Great eyes Robert :)

Pond is fun, about 4 feet long and 2 wide I would say.
