Viewing Sony Raw file thumbnails

I'm sure everyone here already knows this but I thought I'd post it anyway. By installing this driver from Sony, you can display the Sony RAW thumbnails on Explorer or Photo Gallery in the same way as JPEG files. I've done this and it works fine on my Windows 7 Pro machine.

"Sony RAW Driver is a program to display Sony RAW data (ARW/SR2/SRF files) on Windows Vista® ⁄ Windows® 7 ⁄ Windows® 8 ⁄ Windows® 8.1."

do the sony raw files view on a mac,i just got a a7 and haven't picked it up yet,i use a mac air for editing now.thanx

I'm sorry but I've never owned a Mac so I have no idea. The Sony support site I give the link to above makes no mention of it, only Windows. Hopefully, someone on here that owns a Mac can answer your question.
