I see nothing wrong with the color of the chair... Must be personal preference ..

Heather first of all I like the picture. The 2 things that maybe I would change is there seems to be just a tad too much headroom on the pic and the vignetting could use a little more fade to it. Overall nice job.

I kind of like the headroom. I could do with a little more Bokeh in the background though. It's a bit too defined for my taste. It's a great backdrop but it's a bit heavy and takes attention away from the subject. Instead of f/3.2 try all the way open or maybe even f/2. I know that lens has some issues with f/1.4 but if it's like mine when I first got it then it might actually work better wide open. My 50mm 1.4 started out awesome at f/1.4 but then it got weird with focusing issues at f/1.4 over the years. It's still a great lens at f/2 or smaller but occasionally I can get some great shots at f/1.4. Also, the vignetting or burning on the sides is a bit much. Nice shot though.

I didn't even catch the vignetting until others commented about it so I went back and looked at it again. Where it catches my eye at is in the grass, where there's a noticable change in how green the grass is around the edges. As for the headroom, I like where it's at. The windows in the wall make this a touch crop, either take it all out or leave them all in. If you crop partway through those windows then the tangents would bug the heck out of me. Well done, I like it.

Had my first attempt at shooting a couple of seniors...still working through the edits, but these are a couple of the first ones. Friend of mine asked if I could get a pic for their daughters senior announcements since their normal photogs were booked up. Got a few other pictures of her friend that tagged along in the pink.

Number of first for me....Shooting someone other than my family or random objects, shooting at this particular location, just received my 85mm the day before, first senior portrait type thing, first time trying to attempt to pose someone at all, working with split toning in lightroom, etc. I was a nervous wreck.

I can see a few things (blemishes, etc) Id like to go back and clean up probably, but yeah. Any C&C yall can give me would be appreciated. I try to post up anytime I do something new, as Ive found C&C helps me learn the most.

Seemed like I was battling a good bit of CA...not sure if it was just the lighting or what, as I was getting it on both the 50mm and 85mm prime. Shot with a Nikon D5200.

Just trying ambient light for a change. Was trying some fashion kind of shots.

85L. Almost straight from camera except minor blemish removal.

Background is restroom's wall in the park in #1.

I mainly do sports photography so I usually have athletes as my Senior portrait customers. Here are a few.

Well I like it. Good quality shot. Not sure about the gold color on the chair. Doesn't seem to "go with" any of the other colors in the scene.

Were you looking the forum on a cell phone screen?

Thank you and I totally see what your saying and agree.. I guess if that is the worse thing in the photo I will take it. However, I will try to be a little more diligent about it.. Thanks again.

Its a very nice photo. Actually, the chair color fits rather nice with very similar colors among the wall. It seems to help the composition in that regard.
