There's a lot to learn with this camera. I did find the obligatory duck to enter the club and the autofocus is impressive even for a beginner.

Methodical I forgot to thank you for the better BEAMER image. The lens you couple with it is ever so sweet.
Cycling...a hundred miles last week on a Ti Fargo which is now in the shop getting a Jones H Bar and replacing.L Niner carbon fork for a Salsa carbon Firestarter so I can haul gear on the forks....another hobby much like photography in never being satisfied :)

I bought the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro about 4 years ago for my wife. I've never really had much interest in macro photography, so at the time, I only used it for portraits and sports since it was the best lens we owned at the time (at this focal length). But ever since I bought the 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II (about a year and a half ago), I don't think I've used the macro lens once...

Until today... when I found this wasp in our driveway. The ants found it first though ;)
