Here's my American (Pit Bull) Terrier, "Love Shack". Yes, that's her real name. And yes, she is a purebred American Pit Bull Terrier, despite what others want to say - she definitely rocks those ears ;)

That third shot is great.

How did you light that? Is that with the 70-200?

Dear Board,

Here are a few of my Bear. The first one I posted to the "show us your shelter dog" thread and the comment was made that he looked a little unsure of himself but that he would come around. When I first saw that comment I was sort of insulted but then I thought about it from the dog's POV and understood. The other photo's are of Bear in subsequent times.

Please don't judge my dog by my pictures, if I was half as good a photographer as Bear is a dog and companion I'd be famous! ;-)a

Bear is an absolute joy to have around and after having a wonderful Labrador Retriever and an equally wonderful pointer mix before Bear I will admit that I will never understand the fear that Pit Bulls seem to evoke in people? Bear is the equal of my previous dogs and in many ways their better, and I don't say that lightly for I dearly loved both dogs.

Regards,

Tim Murphy :-)

That's a real cutie there Tim. Excuse me if I am wrong but I seem to remember you posting about the loss of your previous dog a while back. Very happy you found a new companion.

Dear Board,

Prior to me getting Bear I had a Labrador Retriever and a Greyhound-Pointer mix. They were both wonderful dogs, and dogs that I would have died for.

Now I have this dude, a dog that I would gladly die with.

You have to know one to understand. ;-)a

Regards,

Tim Murphy :-)
