Happy Birthday Maureen!!!!
Great shots! I sure hope I get to see that country some day!
Here's hoping everyone gets back on their feet real soon!
went out on Saturday to see some Osprey and Eagles. Got a few shots I was happy enough with. Hopeing that in a couple weeks we'll get to see some bear. They are finally starting to move around now.

Cool shots, Barbara. Hopefully you get a shot at a bear, I look forward to seeing them. :-)

Million dollar view. Was doing spring clean-up at a clients house today, this is the view from the back yard. I got totally sunburnt while I was there, despite multiple applications of sunscreen. The lake was calling my name, but I know that it's still freezing cold.

That's a view I could get used to. :-D

Happy Birthday, Maureen! Great shots, The Grand Canyon is on my list of places to see.

Fantastic shots, Barbara. The only birds I can get have to be sitting still! LOL

Melody, lovely shot. Wish I could wake up to a view like that!

He had it up for sale awhile ago but it didn't sell. Was only asking $1,000,000

I am not really, Stina. grandkids here Monday, today & tomorrow, everyone took me out last night for my birthday & then there are stacks of mails, laundry, etc. But I am doing fine. Working on pics in the evenings; sharing a couple of Catherdral Rocks in Sedona. Different times of day, different lighting. It is hard to go wrong, it is so beautiful.

Those are great, Maureen. It looks like it was a good time of year to go, giving you lots of clouds for your landscapes.

Had my babies today. Tristan would not cooperate for a snapshot but Ella was a good girl :-)

These shots are stunning!!! Scrolling the page, my breath literally caught in my chest. The light filtering through, the striations in the canyon walls. No words.
I must go here some day. I must.

Hi ladies, it's been awhile, but I knew where to come for friendly advice. A friend of mine will be traveling to Boston on Tuesday with her family, and one of their adventures is a catamaran whale watch. Marianne has recently purchased a used 100-400L (ver 1). If any of you have or have used this lens, then you may be aware of their notoriously bad image degradation even with the best of filters. How do you recommend cleaning salt spray to avoid scratching the lens 1) while on the whale watch and 2) a thorough cleaning afterwards?
Note: She will be using a raincoat to protect the camera body and lens so the front element is the primary concern.
Thank you sooo much for your experienced advice! :-)
