So last season I shot a wedding that was hosted in what was perviously an abandoned goggle factory out in Reading PA. Since then it has been renovated into a raw event space where you have to walk through a winding art gallery in order to get there. The space literally has NOTHING in it and the couple did ALL of the decorating. It was a complete RAW space. Super excited to share this wedding. I'll leave you with 2 images but click here for the rest. http://joedantone.com …gleworks-factory-wedding/ (external link)

Joe,

I looked through the album - some truly great pictures.

What lens did you use for the dance floor pictures?

Paul

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Thank you! mostly all the dance floor pictures are 35mm. If the dance floor is jam packed I will use my 28mm to get a wider perspective and capture more of a scene and I won't have to worry about empty spaces on the floor. If the dance floor is fairly crowded with a few gaps I will use a 35mm. to make it seem as if there were a ton of people out there. First dance I almost always use the 85mm.

Yea it was a killer venue. Totally blank, raw space and was completely decorated from the ground up by the couple.
