Thank you!!!

Well, thank you for the inspiration and creative ideas.

I don't love taking photos of the moments, creating your own moment seems something really fun for a hobbyist like me(although i lack creativity).

My favorite page in the forum for sure.

Agreed, this is a super thread. It's thanks to so many creative folks here that I've learned from that makes my photography better every day!

Two light setup. Key is Profoto Magnum shot through a 2'x3' diffusion panel; side light is SB-800; no fill. Dish is flagged to control spill onto the wall: the b/g pattern is real. :)

First is my test shot. I shot it wide for comedic effect and also for easier AF. I ended up swapping out the flash to the right for another strip bank. The final shots are one with the beady dish and one without. I like the low key look of the 2nd but I think the model liked the more conventional first one. Model credit: Jaycee

Thank you very much! Yeah for my outside work much more I can shoot this rovelight in HSS so I am not limited to time of day anymore I can shoot shallow DOF any time of the day with no variable ND so no AF lens hunting for me;) Einstein cant do that;)

Mid-day between a couple buildings; one 430EXii on the ground behind the model; a second 430EXii and a Phottix Mitros + in a Phottix 60x60 softbox camera right; all controlled with Odin transmitter on camera (the Canon flashes were on Odin receivers; the Mitros has an internal receiver).

The Behind the Scene shot wasn't actually intended to be a BTS; I actually didn't think to take one. You can see the shadow of the softbox on the steps.
