Your headings are portraits, events and weddings. None of the photos in your opening page portfolio feature any of those things. If I'm a client, I might think for a second I've arrived at the wrong site. If you want to feature your photos of the area where you live, I think that's great. Make a section for them. Don't pad your portfolio with them. The wedding stuff you have is nice. Put that up front and feature it, don't hide it. Just my opinion.
