the lens is drool worthy, the photography is impressive...
but more than that - David Arbogast how did you get those boys in a 3 piece suit?!?!?
my boys would have staged a full rebellion!!

Hehe, they came already dressed; all I did was take their picture. I attended a friend's wedding and captured a few shots (I wasn't the photographer, was just there for fun). Some of them really liked to ham it up in front of the camera, which was all the better.

David it's nice to see that you keep this thread alive. Very nice shots. I've sold my Otus in April and picked up the Leica Noctilux 50mm f/0.95 ASPH. Its not about sharpness with this lens. But its character its unique and it produces more this 3d look wide open than th Otus.

I cannot remember last time I took a look at this thread. I think I should change that.

Actually I have not all the time I wish to take the camera, go out and take some pictures. Nevertheless, I had the chance to go to Miss Gi's concert (Incredible singer, btw). And I did not regret it at all. I took some pictures and when a saw the results, @ f1.4 in a very poor light room, I realized how good this lens is and why it costs what it costs. Here's an example:

How are you satisfied with the 5ds and Otus? I like these shots. But the biggest point for this good picture is your eye and not a new body.
