Alright so I think we just about have our website where we like it, so I am ready to get some feedback on it. If you would please take a minute or two I would really appreciate it. Its weddings, seniors and family portrait type stuff so everything is work safe.

Its a bit odd to me that the homepage has a distintly different layout from the rest of the site. I'd expect the navigation to remain consistant throughout as it gives the impression that you now visting a different site.

It might just be the way the script is displaying your pics but on several pages the last row of pics only have one or two. It looks like you ran out of pics.

Several of the portrait images look either over exposed or lacking contrast. Never assume that your potential customer has a colour corrected monitor.

HTH....

Thank you, I have been going back and forth about the home page navigation. As for the images in a row I believe that all depends on the monitor or device, my phone has full rows as does my computer.

Can you describe which photos you feel are over exposed? I just don't see it on my devices.

Agree with the above comment re the fractured design. Just doesn't make any sense to have one design on the home page and a completely different one on subsequent pages. Makes it seem like two different sites glued together.

Understood that's a fairly easy fix. What's everyone's opinion navigation along the top or down the side?

I don't think there is a right answer. I had mine along the top for years, recently changed my site and decided that down the side worked better. I think it is just down to personal choice. Users understand both systems so it will work well either way.
