^^ When you change the camber like that, what happens to performance?

Those cars look so cool, and I assume they're tuned, so I'm just curious.

Nice ride.

Nothing honestly. Of course if you go real crazy with it like some 350z's and others it can take away from it. But im running -4 degree's all the way around and its never stopped me from enjoying some curves or anything. Now ive never taken it to the track so i dont know about that. But mines a rabbit with a 2.5L 5 cyl, with header, exhaust, cai, and a tune and I enjoy it every day.

Actually, changing the camber too drastically will cause issues long term. The bearings can't handle the strain, the tires wear like crap and are complete garbage, you lose traction (substantially depending on how far you go), the car becomes far less safe. It's just not a good idea. If you go really far, it basically drifts every corner due to lack of traction. You also lose plenty of stopping ability because you have less touching the ground. Now that Rabbit isn't too terribly far so I couldn't see TOO much of a change, but a change never the less. I never liked the look and I'm not a fan (If you didn't figure that out by now) as I drive cars for speed and performance, not just looks. I just never saw the appeal of trashing a cars suspension, tires and performance.

Not hating on your ride, just the idea. We all have out own likes and wants. A passion is a passion and I respect that no matter what.

Thanks a lot! It's been a while since I took those, I plan to shoot that car again soon.

-4 degrees camber would probably improve his handling in the turns. I agree that some people go overboard with the stance and camber thing, but this car is no where close to what you are describing. It's not uncommon for BMW's (and other performance oriented models) to run negative camber from the factory, especially the rear.

I drive a Honda Fit (I know, I'm in the wrong thread here, but love all cars) and I know a lot of owners running adjustable camber plates, etc to dial in camber to improve handling. A lot run close to -2.5 degrees, this is not that much different.

Clean ride Camlee!
